Thanks!

Nope, good news all round!

Enjoy!

Brilliant post/sticky. This has just spurred me on to check our booking (via VH), as the last time I tried there was just an error screen. Now I can access my booking and complete the online check in process. It's just a case of counting down those days.

Many thanks,

Dave & Maxine

Yep, I think (only from what others have said about this - not tried a booking with Virgin personally) that with Virgin you are all set when you complete check in as the skip the counter feature is included!

Thumbs up VH/Alamo OLCI

From our previous experiences of using the VH/Alamo OLCI service, we have been able to bypass the counter, go select our car and then drive to the parking lot exit barrier. It's at this point when the person in the exit booth checks all paperwork/driving license and credit card and prints off the rental paperwork and then it's hello Orlando.

We've been off the flight and driving out on to the 528 in under 30 minutes before, hoping it's something like that this year.

Correct. If you have pre-paid officially you cannot although I think some people randomly could, worth a try perhaps? You don't really have anything to lose.

A good article but think we'll still head for the garage having completed Savetime, they haven't batted an eyelid so long as the barcode was there. will look into Skip the counter in future though if it seems they ate tightening up on things.

Thanks for doing this Dan.

Typical, I have booked and paid in full through Alamo Brits so reads as if I can't do this! I will try anyway just in case once we have decided who the additional drivers are.

Hope this helps lots of others anyway and being a sticky is as good as being in the guidebook, if not better.
