No difference as you still get an Alamo booking reference on the voucher from AutoEurope so you can go onto the Alamo website & see your booking & add any other extras & also OLCI.
We booked with Charter travel last year & the car was again Alamo with a 3rd party (Flexible Autos) & all was okay then as well

That's just for one driver but I think you could upgrade to more for a bit more

Paid £365 for Standard SUV with VH just a few day ago. Includes extra driver. Well pleased as some of the other sites we're crazy prices.

You are right. You can actually get 3 lots of Miles if you do what I do.
I have just booked a Luxury for 28 days Aug/ Sept.
Cost = £881 so 881 Miles
Alamo chuck into the pot 1000 Miles
Pay by Virgin Black Amex and get 3524 Miles (£881 cost x 4 as a Virgin product attracts more Miles)
So 5405 Miles for 1 car booking

You get the same with VH but they have to manually link your FC Number which is a pain!

Does anyone know if the car hire through Expedia includes CDW or similar?

It isn't very clear and wondered if anyone has any info on this. Seen a good deal as we are wanting a car for just under three weeks in August and coming in quite expensive.

I've booked with VH so Alamo rental for 14 nights in late August an intermediate S.U.V. Rav 4 or similar
With free extra driver for £338.
I am happy with this as Alamo Brits were asking £530 but to be fair it included a tank of fuel!
