Update before holiday updates!

I have a few updates to post which will follow this.

First off, the last two movie nights before last night were:

Not a Disney movie, I know!

I used to love this when I was younger and we came across it and had to show the girls. They both really enjoyed it, even Kaley which surprised me. It was a bit of a shock watching it as although it is rated PG, there were lots of ≈≈≈≈≈≈'s and of course, back in the late 80s, smoking was shown in films, so there was lots of smoking! Phil was wondering what we were letting them watch!

Last week, we were back to Disney films

And then last night was

I think Phil is getting a bit fed up of girly films!

Second, I have everything ready for the reveal of the holiday. Phil has produced the DVD and it just needs to be burned to a disc and wrapped. Everything else I have bought has been wrapped and I just need to wrap the big box that everything will go in. Madison has been talking a lot lately about going when she is 8 and I am ridiculously excited to finally be able to tell them that we are going a year earlier!

I will take photos and post an update about what they had and how it goes in the New Year.

Finally, I am also the most organised I have ever been for Christmas and have everything wrapped and separated into each girls presents, Christmas Eve gifts and reveal box gifts!

Hope anyone reading has a lovely Christmas!

Back to the holiday and my planning folder from last time is out

And already has documents in!

Some more items ticked off the to do list following this …….

My Disney Experience

We have linked our bookings! We have been periodically checking our booking to see if it would link and for a long time we haven't been able to. With us staying at OKW, we knew we would have to wait a while to link, I think because it is a DVC resort, and finally a couple of weeks ago, we were able to link.

After much faffing, I managed to link everyone that should be linked on the booking and changed all the settings and sent 'invitations' so everyone could see all of the plans.

We haven't yet chosen our magic bands, we are going to wait until the girls know about the holiday and can choose their own.

We have also been able to link our three night stay at Kidani so also have these magic band colours to choose.

Airport Parking

After getting the flights booked, I wanted to spend more money!

I had received an email from Park and Go for 14% discount on airport parking that was due to expire so I had a look at the website to check their prices.

I went through topcashback to hopefully get 12.72% cash back and I wanted a meet and greet parking again as it was so easy last time.

EazyPark Meet and Greet, who I booked with last time, came up at £70 for my dates. With the 14% discount code, the cost came down to £60.20. I was happy with this price and paid a 99p fee for cancellation insurance in case I find the same cheaper and an 89p credit card fee making the total £62.08. I will hopefully be getting approximately £7 back through topcashback.

We had no problems with these last year and they were at the airport waiting for us when we arrived and were there very quickly when we returned home so I am happy to have booked the same again.

Memory Maker

I spent more money, oops!

I was on the dibb one night a little while ago before going to bed and someone had posted that they had read that the pre-order price for Memory Maker was going up by $20 the next day.

I wasn't sure whether or not to buy it now so read a few more threads and then went back to it about 15 minutes later. Someone had now posted that the price rise had been confirmed so I spent a couple of minutes umming and ahhing over the $20 or approximate £13 difference that it would be and decided that I was going to book it.

So, Memory Maker ordered at $149 which at the exchange rate I got worked out at £97.92. Last time we split the cost between us and I think we are going the same again so will be less than £25 for each of us.

I logged into MDE the next day and the MM had linked so is already showing in my account.

A couple of days later, I had a package delivered by FedEx which was this

I'm not entirely sure what I need this for but it will be going with all my other 'Important Documents' in my planning folder that will be taken with me!

I haven't been on the Dibb in what feels like ages (probably only a week or so!), so glad when I came on you'd done an update!

I literally can't wait until the girls know! x

I'm very impressed at how organised you are Lisa, both with the holiday and Xmas. I've still got to find presents for Nicola and my mum!

Great news that the flights are booked and you're all linked up on MDE.

Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas!
