2 bookings under one ADR

Hi everyone

Bit of a tricky question. I am not travelling until next year but am looking at how fast restaurants book up etc.
Yak and Yeti is one we really want to go to.

At no time is it ever available for 7 people. However, lots of availability for smaller groups.

Does anyone know can I book us in as two parties using the reservations system?
We have no problem being at different tables but could I request by calling them that we be close by?

Just wondering has anyone ever tried this or do all parties have to be under one booking.

We are actually 2 accomodation bookings at present but I will be linking them as don't want to sit separately for the entire holiday .
Thanks so much for any advice.

As above, it's part of Landrys so as a Landry card holder you get priority seating so don't need to book- Rainforest & T-rex are also part of the Group

The Ts and Cs say the priority seating is only valid for groups of 6 or under.

Landrys have changed their terms and conditions so you can't use the birthday $25 towards the bill if using the welcome $25. This is the wording taken from their T&Cs:

"Birthday Rewards cannot be used on the same visit when a Welcome Reward is redeemed".

They obviously got wise to people cheating the system.

We are a party of 7. The only time we had an issue is at YSH as we could only get a 5pm ADR. So I booked 2 tables one table of 4 on my MDE and one table of 3 on DHs, as you are right in thinking you can only book one table at a time. I rang Disney to try and do it over the phone but the lady couldn’t help. If you have another MDE account holder in your party then they can do the other.

Hi Kat,thank you. I wonder is there an issue seating you near to the other half of your party if you make two bookings or if that can be organised in advance?

We are planning on arriving early and waiting with the hope that they will be able to sit us closer together then?

Thanks Kat. I think I wil make double reservations and get the Landry card also and hope that that pops us up a bit ! Might try ringing them too. Someone on another forum said they don't open many tables to Disney which might explain the issue I am having.
