Best route from MCO to Cabana Bay...

We normally stay in a Disney hotel for our whole holiday, but this year we are starting with 2 nights in Cabana Bay. So we are unsure on the best/easiest way to drive to the Universal area.

Is the best route north out of MCO, Jeff Fuqua Blvd, Cargo Road, Bear Road, Tradeport Dr, McCoy Road, W Sand Lake Road, then Turkey Lake Road? I'm happy to pay tolls, but really don't want to go on the I-4.

Thanks

Yes, the 482 (W Sand Lake Road) to Turkey Lake Road if you want to avoid the I4

There would never be a reason that you need to go on the I4 to travel between those two points.

Its a lot less faff to just stay on Jeff Fuqua till you reach the junction with N Frontage Road, turn left at the junction into N Frontage Road and follow it round till it meets Sand Lake Road. There are a lot of people that don't like this route as its busy but I like it as it is familiar and an easy drive.

If you stay on Sand Lake Road till it crosses I-Drive carry on under the I4 bridge and turn at the next left, you will arrive shortly after at the Walmart on Turkey Lake Road.

Last year we went North out of MCO, 528, Turnpike and a mile up I4 to exit 74B - you get a great view of Volcano Bay and Cabana Bay on the exit ramp.

It was the shortest and quickest according to Google Maps.
