The killer whale born at SeaWorld Orlando Florida on 9th October is a growing boy. SeaWorld Orlando has opened up a special competition for the public to choose the baby's name.

Now through to the 3rd January, fans can go to the poll at SeaWorld Orlando's Facebook page and vote for their favourite name from the following options;

Nico (Greek for "victory of the people")
Makaio (Hawaiian for "gift of God")
Haruki (Japanese for "shining brightly").

I swear I heard on the news yesterday while making dinner that Makaio was the name chosen.

I was at Sea World on December 16th and took some photos of mom & baby. I thought I had uploaded them to my photobucket account, but I don't see them there. I'll have to fix that tomorrow when I am off, and post one for you guys.
