Premium Economy Flights

Hi
We are flying with On a virgin plane but it’s a delta flight code. We are in premium economy do we still get the same luggage allowance. Also we fly to JFK on return will the luggage allowance be the same any advice welcome 🤔

On the return trip you are only allowed to take 1 bag on the Delta flight but 2 on the Virgin leg. In reality going indirect PE you lose the ability to check in 2 bags.

Surely if it is one ticket, this isn't the case? I thought you would get the higher allowance as you dont recheck your bags at the connection?

Hi Sarah - we're flying PE on a Delta code, flying VA Man to Atlanta and Delta from Atlanta to RSW return. Although we only take one cabin sized case atween us plus a backpack apiece onboard, our confirmation states 2 pieces of hold luggage each.

We fly premium and indirect...you definitely get 2 cases each... plus I always have a cabin case and a bag as well..

No point flying PE unless you get two bags - the rest of the uplift from Economy is negligible

Thankfully we're all different. Our backpacks/one cabin sized case is negligible... PE's larger seat, 21" of width and foot rest is what we need.

I agree, space first. Luggage allowance is great but not the major factor for us.

Another one who values the extra 4" width and 7" legroom far, far more than the (in my view) Nil value of extra baggage. I'm flying Virgin PE to LAX on Friday for a week with one hold bag and NYC in Spring next year, again PE, hand baggage only for the short 4-night stay. I've never, not ever, in my life toted 2 hold bags, even for my upper class Virgin flight to Miami for my honeymoon, or on an earlier 3-week Disney stay. Love the extra space of PE and am looking forward to my comfy LAX flight with that wider, longer seat space...

Thanks for all replies my invoice says 2bag option so I might take a cabin case and check it in to see if not it can go with me 😏
