Drinks for the plane at Gatwick

Hello,

We're flying with Norwegian and so don't have the lovely drinks service of Virgin to enjoy. Is there anywhere we can buy Gin in a Tin or little bottles of wine / prosecco to take on board once we're through security? And if not, what's the drink service like on board?

No driving at the other end and I'm on my own with the boys so I'll need a little something!

Not sure about the tins but duty free sells the minature bottles.

Hate being a kill joy as I blooming love g n t! But you won’t be allowed to drink prebrought alcohol on board, they will only allow you to drink it if brought on board. I believe it is an international law so they can be sure how much you have drunk.
Hasn’t stopped me in the past with the odd small baileys bottles lol

Im sure airlines dont allow cosumption of duty free on planes.

As the last two posters have said I'm afraid you aren't allowed to buy alcohol in the terminal and then drink it onboard. I'm sure Norwegian do have a drinks service, you just have to pay for it

Drinks service looks fab though. You can order and pay from your screen. I’ll let you know Saturday how that goes! Although we have lounge access so I’ll probably stock up before I get on 😉
