Alcohol on the DDP

Just wondering who’s going to be first to give us some feedback as it’s now 2018 and alcohol is part of the DDP?

I want to know this too, I look at the cocktail section of the menu now more than the food 😆

Excited about this, and interested to know what the u-21s will be able to choose. I was on the phone to Disney today and asked about it. The CM didn’t have much information other than the Magic Bands will know who is an adult and who is U-21, so no ordering extra cocktails on the kid’s DDP

Under 21s will be able to choose non alcoholic cocktails and speciality milkshakes as part of the upgrade to the dining plan so there are extras available for under 21s. The law is no alcohol under 21 therefore any under 21s credits couldn't be used for alcohol. I did wonder how they would impose this but it sounds as if they have it covered

Does anyone know yet if you get an alcoholic beverage with a QS meal on DDP?

I still dont see how they can stop guests getting adult drinks with kids qs credits if you eat at different times.
My kids are planning to eat in a few places and share just so they have tried lots of different things. If we go into a qs place and order two qs meals (for the kids) and two adult drinks how can the till know who in our party the meals are for ?
For kids classed as disney adults how are they going to know ?

Typical Brits ... how can I manipulate breaking the law to get an extra free drink. The alcohol was included at no extra cost but I'm sure if it is abused enough the perk can be revoked !
Why not just respect your hosts laws ? Just as I'm sure you expect American visitors to respect our laws when they visit the U.K.!
