Hi,

DS and I don't like a lot of the rides at US but we enjoyed walking round and going to the shows, if they like HP then there will be lots to keep them entertained. We would go again just for the food

Hi

We went for the first time in October 2016. We booked Universal but only as I am a huge Harry Potter fan! My daughter was 8 at the time and she doesn't enjoy big rides, my husband doesn't like them either. My son on the other hand likes big rides but wasn't to bothered about going on them.

We were mainly going for Disney but we left all agreeing that Universal was a lot more enjoyable! We loved how it was more laid back, its not just big rides either, there is so much to see and do.

We loved Disney too but Disney was just so manic!

We cant wait to return this year and do both Universal and Disney again!

There are a lot more 3D / virtual reality type rides at Universal so if your husband and child don’t like ‘big’ rides they may enjoy these. When we went first time we just tagged Universal on as we thought it was our once in a lifetime holiday but we absolutely loved Universal - as mentioned above it is is much more laid back and have a really ‘cool’ vibe! We also love all of the Harry Potter stuff! We are going back this year and spending 6 nights in Universal and not bothering with Disney. My kids are 9 and 12 x

There is plenty to see and do without any big rollercoasters.
Lots of simulated rides (Spider-Man, Transformers, Simpson’s and Minions). escape gringots and forbidden journey are quite gentle. Mummy ride is a a great roller coaster but doesn’t go upside down.
3D show Shrek, Jimmy falcon race through New York. New fast and furious (new one not done this &#128533
You will all love Men in Black. (Steve and Josh always try to beat each other’s scores)
And there is always the ET ride. I will be very disappointed if you ALL don’t do this one Louise &#128540
