This place is not my scene so I wouldn't go there. But it is very popular and sounds like a bizarre decision to change what is obviously a winning formula.
I have seen these types of decisions in business and they tend to be made by some bright young thing! They then move on when a failure ensues and the original model is reinstated.

Is this maybe a case of some people booking it and not knowing what they are getting into or what to expect? We've not eaten there as it wouldn't be our thing, but I know lots of people love it so it'd be a shame for it to end as it's such a unique experience.
It'd be a bit like going to Crystal Palace and complaining about the characters 'interrupting the meal'! (extreme example, but you know what I mean!)

I have booked this purely because I think the kids would enjoy the fun element if they take that off I may look for somewhere else to go. Not sure where though.

I don’t know what to do about our ADR we o my want this for the fun factor. We are meeting up with another family so there will be 10 of us (6 kids) so it sounds perfect.
Disney’s website is still advertising it the same. |

Think I shall cancel our booking for here now. Whilst I know the food here isn't up to much I thought the kids would've enjoyed the fun at this place.

The linked article is not from Disney. I don't personally think it's true.
