I emailed Disney Guest Services about my concerns re overcrowding, and they said each party will have their own viewing area. Bearing in mind that there are two Plaza gardens, one to the left and one to the right, it would make sense if they used one for each rather than cramming everyone in together. Although this will probably depend on whether one party sells better than the other ...

Nice to see an extended section of savoury items available though, last year we were a bit overwhelmed by the sweet stuff and had to keep having cubes of cheese to break it up! But now there are crackers and egg rolls too, according to the Disney Food Blog.

Hope the normal pre-fireworks party has the updated menu too. It sounds fab!

"Offerings will be inspired by each Land in Magic Kingdom, such as S’mores Action Station (Frontierland), Pineapple Delights (Adventureland), Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes (Liberty Square), Macarons (Fantasyland), a Cookie Table (Tomorrowland), and Strawberry Tarts (Main Street U.S.A.)."

Yum! Ooey Gooey Toffee Cakes!

It was the first night of the after party last night and first review I've seen says all guests in the same plaza gardens. Both parties had the same food.

The after party guests were going into the gardens about an hour before the fireworks so 8.15? Only a small number of people booked into the the after party as it's so new, so difficult to estimate how much busier the garden will be if parties fully booked? Person who went said they had been before and the garden was about the same as before but obviously party not sold out? They said people were going over earlier than usual because they were concerned about missing a good spot! They didn't like the food as much as before, but this is obviously personal taste?

Not sure what to do now? Can't see the point of queuing an hour before, you can do that for free? Will keep an eye out for further reviews as it gets busier!

Hmmm, I agree - I'm going to wait for some more reviews but I think I will probably cancel.

I thought most people are sitting, no point for paying if my son can't see and there are tall people ahead of him! I prefer going by myself one night and braving the crowds

I know! apparently the Disney food blog is also going to review very soon so keep an eye out?

I can imagine in July the garden will be packed! I booked this for my friend's birthday present as they have never been before .

Following a blogger on twitter who is doing the after fireworks party tonight. He said you can get into the designated area before some of the before fireworks guests but looks like areas have expanded.
