No I didn't get any hard copies from Florida Escapes after I requested the code to connect the magic bands. Once I bought the magic bands I then connected them online. Just to clarify - you don't buy MagicBands from Florida Escapes.

You've bought an onsite hotel stay and e-tickets from Florida Escapes. The code you requested connected your onsite package (hotel + e-tickets) to your Disney account. When you check-in at the Disney hotel, they will provide you MagicBands for free that can access your Disney account. These MagicBands will have been linked to your Disney account by Disney. Your Disney account contains your e-tickets, so your MagicBands can access these.

At least, I assume you haven't been sent MagicBands?

Just to clarify we stayed on site and when we arrived our magic bands were at the hotel waiting for us all linked into our MDE. We had to go to Disney Springs to pick up the $200 gift card.

Our friends however were only joining us when we were offsite. We bought magic bands for them when we were out there and then linked them to their MDE using the references given to us by FE. I think - but I am not sure - that the problem they had with their magic bands was my fault. When linking the references to the MDE I wasn't asked which band I wanted to link to which person - I think they were linked as per the order that FE had listed them - which unfortunately meant that the pink bracelet that we had for our friends young daughter was then allocated against her dad and his orange band was hers - and when he tried to use the pink band for entry it caused problems as he was not a child. I think that may have been the problem. But if you are on site it is not an issue as you get to select and personalise (your name on the reverse) of the magic band and the resort has it all ready for you.
