2 Rooms, 1 x DxDDP
What would you do?
4 adults 2x2 DVC studios, 5 nights, 1 studio with DxDDP other with nothing. Sharing credits. Where would you eat? Interested in what others would do.

Is the other room sharing the cost of the Deluxe? If yes, then the 4 of you have 30 credits to use over 5 nights

Yes, that is what we are planning doing - just wondering how other people would use their credits.

I’d book a nice dinner each night and pay OOP for breakfast & lunches.
You could do 2 signature meals and 2 normal ones over the stay. |

Thanks Bev, I was thinking 1 signature, 4 single credit then we have 6 left so a character breakfast one day and a lunch somewhere on our final day before leaving for the airport, paying OOP for 2 of them.
Perhaps 2 signatures is the way to go though, DS and his GF are pretty foodie.

Character breakfast is a fun option too. It depends if you think the signatures are worth ‘double’ to you.

I’m thinking of doing the same but with normal TS DDP. Two rooms, 5 adults, 5 nights in two studios. Thinking of buying the DDP for 3 adults in one studio and sharing for 3 TS character meals. I’ve not worked out the exact maths yet and undecided.

Caron Very much doubt that it's worth it, really depends on which Character meals, using Tusker for instance- Current cost is $47:
5x $76 = $380 5x $47 +(10 snacks + 5 QS)$50 + $90= $375 but if you take your 10% DVC discount off, then the difference is then $380-$352=$28 Effectively paying an extra $84 for 3 mugs & convenience SD

We have a 14 night trip for our party of 6 adults and 6 kids (only 4 under 10). Split stay in studio/2 bed - 7 nights BCV and 6 nights BLT.
ADR's at Yak&Yeti, Akershus, Biergarten, Garden Grille, Cape May, Tusker House ROL, 50's Prime Time, Crystal Palace, BOG (breakfast, lunch and dinner), Whispering Canyon, Ohana, Kona Cafe, Grand Floridian Cafe and The Wave. After much thought and burning the midnight oil over spreadsheets we have bought DXDDP for the 2 beds only at a cost of $7310.73. We will share the credits and I have estimated the cost of gratuities at approx $1200. I have also guestimated that using TIW (including CS costs, snacks and mugs etc) would come to approx. $10500. Now I know this goes against all DIBB conventional thinking and I won't know until it's all done and dusted if we have made the right choice but at least now after months of dithering the decision has been made
