Ebay scam ? (photo related).

So I bid for a camera with the auction finishing at 12 midday tomorrow.
I then get two e-mails, one to say I have been outbid the other to say the auction has ended ?
This has happened twice with the same seller today.
Is this right ?
Can a seller end an auction when they like ?
The winning bid was £26.02 and I notice the same seller has the same item's for sale for £54 ?
No problem with them having more that one for sale as it's shop, but I smell a rat here.

Maybe they withdrew it thinking it was not going to sell well! Not on though!

I think u can end an auction when u like.I had an item on for sell that after i listed it I decided i didnt want to sell it.But this does sound a bit dodgy.Someone else mite be along to help u more

You can end an auction, but if doing it regularly I think it is against Ebay rules. I had an item pulled by Ebay as I had said it was advertised elsewhere and I was reserving the right to end the auction early - Ebay said this was against the rules and pulled the item.
