There are several hotels near the station. Premier Inn might be a good choice. You have several tube lines at Kings Cross/St Pancras and a couple more at Euston 10 mins walk away. You are also very near the British Library if you wanted to look at that. Despite the recommendation of 30 mins given by Eurostar I would give my self 45 mins to be on the safe side. There is not much to do through security though.
