a battery question this time!

These new Canon A720IS 's I've ordered don't come with re-chargable batteries or a charger! How mean is that? Just 2 AA's... and you can imagine how long they will last!

For anyone who has a Canon, any particular brand of rechargable batteries you recommend?

I have 2 Sony chargers. I take it that they will recharge any kind of AA's?

Thanks everyone!

NiMh AA's - 7dayshop do their own brand 2500 mah - £2.99 for 4 but then you have delivery on top. Think the 2600 mah are £3.50

My old Sony DSC-H1 used 2 x AA batteries - life was good. Canon should also be OK for battery life.
