Adobe histogram question

Hi all, Is there an way I can get all the options as seen here by just using a jpeg ?
Or does it need to be a raw image to get these options ?
If so could I convert to Raw to get these options ?
(using adobe cs3 extended)

The options are on the RAW importer... so no.

As for converting? I don't think you can, never explored it to be honest

Theory would suggest, again, that no you can't as it doesn't really make sense to do it.

You can get a good subset of the full RAW editing options by using the "Open As" command to open a JPEG file as if it were a RAW image. Exposure and colour balance options are a bit more limited, but you can still have a good play with the black level, fill effects, etc. When you re-save the file, ISTR it saves the control data along with the original JPEG file so it doesn't actually mess with the original image data until you tell it to do a full "Save As" a new filename.

I just liked the full range of options you get

Guess I will have to start shooting raw images.
