A helpful tip for all your holiday photos...

You can rename an entire folder of photos in seconds.

Tired of seeing pictures with the name 'Ph008917', 'Canon816251', 'Fuj001726' etc?

Open up a folder containing photos

Press 'ctrl' and 'A' together to select every photo

Then press 'F2'

The first picture will now be editable, give it a name such as 'Florida June 2008.jpg' *

Press enter.

Hey Presto! All your pictures will now be named 'Florida June 2008' in numerical order.



*important to add the .jpg extension so the file can be recognised by your photo/art software.

Actually, extensions will be protected, just the base filename portions will change. Neat.
