10x Optical Zoom Digital Camera

Hi - any advice please?

Am looking for a compact digital camera (not camcorder) which has a 10x Optical Zoom. My only real requests is that it's not too bulky.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,
Hayley.

I bought the Panasonic Lumix TZ7 last week which has a 12x optical Zoom and it is fantastic. Definitely not bulky at all.

Another vote for the Panasonic lumix, we have a 12x and 18x and both are great.

Many thanks - just had a look on Amazon - £220

Does the lens stay out, or does it fit back into the casing of the camera?

Would highly recommend the Cannon IXUS. I have got one and it takes some great pictures.

I have one of the above and I love it. Been having a play with it over the last couple of weeks (still on auto mode as I'm useless ) and am quite pleased with the results.
