Yeah, i priced it up for 2 nights and for my dates it's $309 per night. I think i'll stick to the Hollywood Heights hotel!

This sounds like a wonderful trip especially lovely that you have such a nice relationship with your daughter! our son lives in L A so I get to stay free when we go but the air fares we pay are an awful lot more than you have managed to get them for so well done and I hope you both have a lovely time and i look forward to seeing the pictures when you come back.

Whooo that's very steep for your dates! My rate is also AAA Rate so that brought it down a bit more from the standard rate. The price difference between midweek and weekend can be amazing for some hotels, our San Diego one is $50 cheaper per night midweek, so I've planned the trip around that.

Oh that great your son lives in LA, but agree that airfares can be pricey, we were lucky in that we had some VA Miles we could use, the full price for our dates is around £600! Will def post some photos of the trip.

Just to say that I've edited the first page, as the trip has now been finalised, all alternative dates for hotels have been cancelled, and I must say it's quite a relief to finally have it sorted.

Sarah - it's definitely the FINAL itinerary, lol, promise!

Just have to book the Lux bus, the Hollywood tours, and buy the Disneyland Tickets, and it's all more or less done, as we will pay the hotels over there.

I really cannot wait for this trip, it's been a rough start to the year with one thing and another, and my countdown is keeping me going.

Congrats Mazzy on getting all your plans finalized and set. You got some excellent deals on hotels and your itinerary looks fantastic. You and Sam are going to have such a fun time together, what great memories you'll make. Can't wait to know what you think of my fair city- I think it's your first time to San Diego, if I recall correctly. July is a beautiful time to be here.
