Thank you so much guys for your thoughts and opinions, really didn't expect so much help from you all!

I keep changing my mind as to which is the best to buy!

I'm now even considering the Canon EOS 100d (the new small body DSLR)

It's probably anything up to £450.00

I'd kinda narrowed it down to the Nikon D3200 or the 'smaller' Canon EOS 100d ... which would you guys go for?

I swear by having the standard lens and a zoom lens available for any shots. I bought a micro 4/3rds SLR and the lenses are less heavy and smaller, so fit into my cargo type pockets on my shorts.

For a lot of the large audience outdoor shows in the parks the zoom lens (up to 300mm) is essential IMHO and when you get into using it, you'll also get some fantastic "background out of focus" close portraits of family etc.

I would make sure every lens I had had image stabilisation if theme park usage is one of the main drivers of use. Its essential for action shots.

Does the Kit lens that comes with this deal look like it has Image Stabilisation?
