Solo before the big 4-0

I’ve not been to dlp in over 2 years and that’s just not acceptable!
I’ve got some annual leave booked for March next year and it seems like the perfect time to go. It’ll be an early 40th birthday present to myself.
Booked to stay at Santa Fe from 23rd March for 4 nights.
Had been looking at flights and the times from Edinburgh suit so much better so I’ve booked them, flying out on the Sunday as it’s a bit cheaper. So I’ve booked the Sunday night at the Cheyenne.
I’ve stayed at the Santa Fe before and it is what it is- somewhere to rest my head. Like the look of the refurbished rooms at the Cheyenne and I really like the feel of the bar there.

I’ll either get the train or magic shuttle from the airport depending on the time I arrive at the airport.

Sunday I’ll have a wander to val d’Europe for a bit of shopping.

I don’t have a meal plan booked but I know I want to eat at bistro Chez Remy again and I’ll probably get the wine pairing as I’ve enjoyed that previously.
A bar crawl or two will also feature throughout my stay!

You will have a great time! We love Chez Remy for the theming. It’s my 4-0 next year too but don’t have anything planned yet.

Was gutted to see that big Thunder mountain is going to be closed for my stay, but meant to still be opened on the 22nd so I may get a one day ticket. Going to keep an eye on the closures though before doing that.
Saw a restaurant review of king Ludwigs and it looks great so I’m planning to go there at some point in my trip.

Can’t decide if I want to do buffalo bill show solo or not!

We are there from the 23rd March too! Staying at SL and it’s a new one for us so excited to stay there. Have a fantastic time and fingers crossed for dry weather 😃🤞🏻

Time for another update

I’ve got a hotel booked at Edinburgh airport for the night before. And I booked a day ticket for the Sunday to try and get as many goes on big thunder mountain.
I’ve also booked bbwws for the Tuesday night and got bistro chez Remy booked for the Wednesday afternoon.
