Plan in person at Disney?
Hi All,
We are getting married in September 2011 (subject to booking), not September 2010 as originally planed, as it fits in better with family etc. We are still spending two weeks in Disney in September this year and think it would be an ideal time to do some planning while we are there. Has anyone else tried this while on holiday, can you arrange an 'onsite' appointment for the escape wedding? PS: THANK YOU for the forum! |

I don't think you can plan a site visit for the Escape weddings but I could be wrong. However, most if not all of the sites used for the escape weddings are able to be viewed on your own.
Sea Breeze Point at the Boardwalk is very easy to get to and its really lovely. The Yacht Club Gazebo would be equally easy to view. I believe the Wedding Pavillion is open most days for viewing providing there isn't a wedding taking place.

I dont think o for the escape
we planned ours on site over the course of three visits, but we couldnt have the escape due to the ammount of guests you can visit all the venues though including the wedding pavillion (but obviously you cant go inside if theres an actual wedding on) |

We're going in September and plan to have a look around the different venues while there, sometimes things look very different in the flesh.

As mentioned you cann't have planning sessions with viewings, tasting etc with Escape packages but as Leanne said there is nothing to stop you walking around looking at the places yourself espcially the outdoor locations and if you pop along to the Wedding Pavilion and there is no wedding be set up/happening im sure they wouldnt mind you have a little peek inside
