Hotels in New York near times square

Looking for recommendations for hotel in Dec in New York
Near Times Square or up to ten mins walk away

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Times Square back in 2009. The room was lovely minimal noise two very comfy queen beds. Great location.

We stayed in the Westin Times Square - it was a really nice hotel with very big rooms and despite its central location we found it to be quite quiet.

Riu Plaza Times Square, The Knickerbocker. The Knickerbocker is overlooking TS with an amazing rooftop bar. Beautiful hotel and very quiet when you are inside. They must have fantastic soundproofing!

We have also stayed at the Westin Times Square on two occasions. 5 mins walk to Times Square, good size rooms and we didn’t hear any street noise so managed a good nights sleep on the lovely comfy beds!
There is also another Westin hotel in Manhattan which I haven’t stayed at and is further from Times Square just so that you are aware.

We have just done a week in the W hotel Times Square. You couldn't find a closer hotel to Times Square.

Decent hotel, nice bar, great staff and as I say, the location was fab!

We stayed at Sheraton New York Times Square last summer. It was a few minutes walk from Times Square, we were very happy with the location and hotel.

Another vote for Westin! Lovely hotel in a great location.

The Novotel is also very nice too! Both conveniently located and fresh, modern rooms.
