Thomas cook hand luggage
Thomas cook website states their hand luggage as 6kg plus an additional personal item, such as a small handbag or laptop. Does anyone know the size restriction on the personal item? Have persuaded DH to get s "manbag" this year to carry his laptop etc but we are concerned about the size. Thanks

I asked them this very question the other day and the customer service lady didn't have a clue. She kept saying you can take your 6kg hand luggage plus a laptop bag. I asked if there was a weight restriction on the laptop bag or handbag and she didn't know. All she said was that they would charge anyone whose hand luggage was over 6kg! No help at all I'm afraid but I am guessing a normal sized handbag (going to take the biggest one possible!).

Oh my we are just back last weekend and you should have seen some of the sizes and weights they had as hand luggage! As usual I play by rules and have a backpack under 6kg and a little handbag but some folk had cases, 2 big bags etc, we never had them looked at or weighed at any time.

Thank you both.
Think we'll risk the "manbag". Its the same size as a laptop case so fingers crossed! |

Well, it doesn't say you can take a laptop bag...just a laptop. So very vague.
