Theory Test

DD had her theory test booked for 30 November.

With the introduction of national restrictions theory tests have been put on hold. She received an email to say tests had been suspended and she would need to rearrange.

So we rescheduled for 30 December (the nearest appointment she could get) and she received a confirmation email.

Logged on today, just to see if any other cancellations in December had come up only to find they have unilaterally moved her test to a date at the end of January without our agreement or any notification whatsoever. (And a date she can’t do due to exams). One of her friends has their test booked on 30 December too but at a different time at the same centre, but theirs hasn’t been moved, so we are somewhat confused why DDs has. I’m especially annoyed that we’ve only found out by accident.

We’ve tried to call, but they are not open over the weekend, so will call on Monday to try and get to the bottom of this.

In the meantime I was just curious as to whether this happened to anyone else recently or is it just DD?

Thanks

My sons was cancelled in March and the money returned. Luckily we got one in July and he passed the practical in October (he's now away at University).

I would kept checking for cancellations.

My daughter has had hers cancelled too.. she already passed and her driving test was cancelled early in the year due to COVID ... now her theory has ran out and she has to sit again ... she’s gutted !she’s a student nurse away from home so could only have lessons now n again and that’s why it took so long ! She’s really fed up now !

How long is a theory test valid for before it runs out?
