Vegas ... added to Florida
Yet again plans have changed .
This September’s trip to Florida with a cruise got changed to May and then to late August . However this week a new show was announced in Vegas opening at the end of August ... so it seemed silly not to add Vegas as I’d definitely do it at some point. So once again American’s flexible change policy got used . Latest version is Fly BA 5 nights in Florida staying at Vero with friends (they are AP holders so if things are a bit more normal at WDW might squeeze in a day at WDW but probably won’t bother ) 7night MSC cruise from Port Canaveral Fly from Melbourne Beach to Vegas (much closer than returning to MCO ) 5nights Vegas Fly home , was £100 more for premium economy so maybe I won’t have the usual night flight moaning Was cheaper even allowing for the domestic flight by around £100 pp to fly to LAX then home but husband wanted direct and Gatwick rather than indirect and Heathrow . He has never done Vegas , I have multiple times so as the Hoover dam is on his bucket list we will do that and maybe the Canyon too. If the cruise is cancelled , which I hope it isn’t as we have a very nice deal with extra onboard credit and cabin upgrades from the previous forced cancellation we will do Mount Dora and maybe St Augustine . Vegas has quite a few casino rate hotel offers but husband says he doesn’t want a mega hotel so I think I’ll book the Orleans as easy to get to the Strip on their free shuttle but not as massive as the others , and I like their pool. I’m starting to feel this trip may actually finally happen ! |

That seems like a great trip.
We are in Vegas in September due to having to move Decembers trip and I actually feel like we will get. Can I ask what show it is? |
