When we will know if we are on a refurbished plane, will we have to wait until OLCI?

I am itching to request our seats, but obviously can't yet. Has anyone else flown with Virgin lately, did you have to wait until OLCI?

I logged on week or so ago and managed to book our seats on the off chance. Still can't for the return flight though. Just keep logging on to see if any have become available.

Go to virgin website, go to manage my booking and you can select your seats, out bound and in bound .you will need your booking reference.

I can't book them yet. Something to do with whether or not we are on a refurbed plane and the seat layout.

Hi we were able to book outgoing straight away (oct 11) but still can't book the return flight

We did book ours for both ways, last row (so no-one can kick you in the back on the way home). Outbound flight fab back row, return flight new plane only 3 months old (lovely plane with fab entertainment screens) another row of seats so a row behind us. (This was not showing at all on the online check in or when we booked our seats).

We have reserved our seats for both ourbound and inbound but I know they are not certain until you actually check in, only a request. We are on the early flight out of Manchester and are on a new plane then on the late flight home from International and are on a jumbo but not sure if it will be refurbed or not.
