Can I just confirm a couple of things please.
X box x series definitely plays x box one games?
My son heard rumours that you could play PC games on it but that is now not the case.
Do you think they will bring out a newer one next year that will play PC games?
I don’t want to fork out all that money then something better comes out next Christmas 😫

The new Xbox series x will be able to play any older xbox games, even right back to the original xbox which came out in 2001.

They have a service called game pass, it's like Netflix where you pay monthly and can play hundreds of games which are on the game pass library. You can use game pass on PC too.

He doesn’t have a pc but does fancy some pc games.

Game is advertised as having stock to pre order but when you go to pay its not available 😡😡
So what is the likelihood hood of them being in stock for Christmas?

I’ve done an epic fail with this it’s the only thing DS wants for Christmas- there has never been a problem securing new consuls and when I popped into our local Game at lunchtime the pre order had sold out .
I’m hoping that when they go o. General release there will be enough .

We contacted Game and they said they didn't have any more pre-order allocations, I'm not sure what this will mean after the 10th. Our problem is DH wants it before he gets deployed at that's only a couple of weeks away so it's looking unlikely for him

I was trying to order the Xbox X (the one before series X) a couple of months ago and they were a nightmare to get a hold of because people stocked up on them during lockdown!
