Orlando but not the parks

Hello everyone..

So just wondered if anyone had any recommendations please for Orlando without the parks?

Thinking Miami, Clearwater beach.. Perhaps Daytona & Cocoa beach..

Anyone have any other suggestions please?

We will of course be stopping by for a day at Disney world.. Was hoping to do a one day park hopper ticket..

Go see Anna Maria Island if possible stay a night or 2 it's lovely

You could try Key West and Key Largo south Florida or Walton Beach north Florida both are great drives.

Cocoa! Beautiful beach, Clearwater, lovely, we stayed at a cay club in brendaton, it was on a marina, it was awesome! Lots of nice places away fr Orlando

Thanks everyone.. We will probably go out to Wild Florida again too.. My husband really liked it there being in the middle of no where.. Lol.. Quite peaceful

Ive not heard of Wild Florida before. Just had a look and think we'll give it a try this time!

We went in March this year & I think they said is the first year for it It was really good though. Really pleased we went.. Got some cool pics too

Tour the state we did a 10 day fly drive it was fab didn't go near Disney and saw the Real florida

Sounds cool.. We will be mostly staying away from the parks.. Only doing 1 day at Disney & no other parks

From memory we spent 2 days in Orlando to get over the flight etc. Then 2 days at Clearwater then simply made our way down the coast Naples Sarasota then a few nights at the keys we tried to stay 2 nights at each place to allow us a day without having to pack each time.

Only place we didn't do that was at the keys we stayed at Duck or Conch key I think and it wasn't that good mostly for people who are studying marine biology (which we weren't ) wish we'd went for 1 more night in Key West.

Then Miami and did a taxi tour round it and departed from there.
