First family trip to Las Vegas and Los Angeles 2022 - Index

So our first trip abroad since Covid has been and gone. A US trip wasn't really on the cards for us this year but we are glad we made it happen. We landed home yesterday and jetlag is giving us a bit of a kicking but we had a blast and the kids absolutely loved it. It was a fantastic couple of weeks of enjoying quality family time together. Not everything went to plan but we wouldn't change a thing if we had the time over.

We did a few different locations.

Las Vegas

I have done 4 previous trips reports and have managed to finish 3 of them so hopefully this will become the 4th. Our previous trip reports on The Dibb can be found in my signature.

I'm not sure how well this will go. I planned to make detailed notes on my phone as I went as it really does assist with filling in the details of what we did. I managed to do so on our pre-travel day but when I went to look at them the next day I couldn't find them. That was the end of any notes and to be honest I'm not sure when I would have found time to make them as we were pretty much non stop on this trip. I will just go by memory using my photos to jog my memory. Between Sally and I we took about 3500 photos and the best part of 200 video clips so I have a fair few to work with.

I've no idea how the photos will come out as although I took my camera it never left it's bag once as I couldn't be bothered to lug it around. We just used our phones. I said I would never do that again after I was disappointed with our photos following a Disneyland Paris trip in 2017. Hopefully updated phones since then will work out a little better!
