Amazing Japanese service
In total contrast to the shockingly bad service i've received here, I've had incredible service from the accomodation side of things from Japan.
My Disney booking was cancelled and refunded in minutes. I wrote an e-mail to our other hotel in Tokyo Bay, asking to cancel, and had a polite e-mail a few hours later confirming I am getting a refund! If only things were as easy here to get a refund here, rather than companies expecting us to take the hit rather than them. |

We have a NYC trip with Virgin, yet to be cancelled, but once it is and we get refund (fingers crossed) thinking of a Tokyo trip in September instead.

I'm so gutted about our Tokyo trip. I do want to go again at some point, but this has left me feeling flat about it all. I'm sure I will regain my enthusiasm for travel once this is all over!
This would have been my 4th visit and it's one of my favourite places to go. Such a unique and interesting place. |

My trip in May last year was my first, and was blown away by the people being soooo kind and considerate, and as someone who had done Orlando Disney many times - was blown away by the 2 Disney parks there, especially Sea.

That’s great service. We were supposed to be flying out to Tokyo this Saturday, we’re gutted that we had to cancel, but we’ll book for next year once things settle down.

I'm feeling like the boat may have sailed on Japan for us now, as my job is uncertain. That makes it all the more painful, but maybe in a few years.
At the moment i think that trying to upgrade our WDW tickets to an AP when we eventually go there (already fully paid, IF it happens), and squeezing one more trip in there will be more cost effective at the moment. |
