How close is Turkey to being removed from the UK exempt list? Haven’t seen it’s figures for a few weeks.

looking at today’s figures their rate should be about 13.7 so firmly in the green. It’s been hovering between 14-14.5 for last 2 to 3 weeks |

Thats all we did last week. Monitored Turkeys cases for 3/4 weeks beforehand and they never rose above 14 per 100k. We booked it less than a week before we were due to travel and ensured we went Friday - Friday so that the risk of quarantine would have been minimised prior to returning home as in theory the restrictions wouldn’t have been imposed until the usual 4am Saturday morning.
Our lad had only been back at school 2 days before we whipped him out. Not the most responsible of parenting straight into a new term but we’d have been taking him out anyway in October had our original plans still been intact. |

We have booked Cyprus with tui for half term. Not getting excited at all so many hoops to jump through. The tui protection on booking now is quite good and can change due to covid last minute.

I’ve booked for Greece and keeping everything crossed that we can go. Tbh I would be tempted to do the quarantine as we are so desperate to get away!
