We did a big family cruise on Cunard last year and were all in adjacent balcony cabins. We got pressurised against our own will to have all balcony dividing doors open. I’m looking forward to going on our own and being able to have an early morning cuppa on the balcony in my grundies

Im the same but with my parents. My mum kicked off big time last Xmas - unfortunately me, DH, DM and DF were all renting a house in Newquay near my sister so we couldn't escape! Absolutely never again

It was a huge loss of privacy as we had 8 cabins all in a row with dividers opened. I must say though that I enjoyed the Cunard experience and going to the Yacht club disco on deck 10 for a late night boogie was great. Our 20 year old kids loved it in there and they made a few friends.

Oh no - we like leaving the curtains open to see the sunrise - dont fancy sharing THAT sight with anyone

Glad to know you had a great time.

We do like a bit of luxury on our hols - must dig out my dancing shoes
