Virgin's Adult Only cruise line

businessinsider/rich...19-2?r=US&IR=T

No Kids, free wifi, no buffet lines and no gratuities... definitely sounds good to me what do you think?

"For passengers, the Virgin Voyages experience is designed to differ greatly from that of traditional cruise lines with free WiFi for all and no buffets on board.

Instead of buffets, more than 20 individual restaurants are included in the price of the cruise.

In addition, passengers won't be charged gratuities. Instead, the ship's crew will be paid a salary and won't have to depend on tips for income, McAlpin told Business Insider."

I was looking at these yesterday! Not cheap though? Based in Miami and just short cruises of 3-5 days, or that's all I could see? I quite fancy them though? The restaurants look good!

The photos they used to advertised the rooms though made me laugh - unmade beds are not my idea of fun!

A different sort of cruise comes to mind when they mention adults only...

The maiden voyage is $3800 for 2 adults but that's a veranda room I believe as they haven't released the insides yet apparently.

We were invited by some friends to join them on the MV, but having done a MV on Disney, it wouldn't be my first choice of cruise again. Better to wait a few months, let them iron out the kinks, then cruise for cheaper!

I've got Virgin Cruises on my 'want to do' list, but not quite yet, I'll let my friends go first and see what they say.

Sounds lovely but those perks are not worth the huge price tag to me!

I would love to sail Virgin and I think everything they are offering looks great (Although might give the tattoo parlour at sea a miss lol).

However we are planning on a baby so I guess that rules Virgin out for the next 18 years... darn lol
