I know exactly what you mean, he just doesn’t look right, it’s not convincing enough!

Well, only if it does well and is watched by lots of people.
Seems to have done pretty well so far in terms of reviews and press. There’s hope!

He's supposed to look like he has a big body and a small head. That's the point.

Admittedly, in the comicbooks his head was transplanted onto the body of a Martian ape (I think) whereas in the show he was injected with an ape serum.

Indeed. It's looking likely there could be another series. We'll have to wait and see.

Yes I’m well aware of that, I was just agreeing with the previous poster that it was a little distracting.

Exactly! I know that it’s obviously intentional, it just looks wrong/off/weird/cheap - I’m not sure which. Distracting is the perfect way to describe it

Just watched first three.
Tiffany's 'I think we're alone now'
Adam Ant's 'Goody Two Shoes'
A bit of Queen.
A talking ape.
A robotic 'mom'.
A hairy hulk who lives on the moon.
And Mary J Blige as an unstoppable assassin in a large Frank Sidebottom type dog head.
What's not to like? Brilliant.

We watched one today, also watching glow and The passage and I am getting confused! It seems like a good series though!

I'm liking it but the only criticism I have and this goes for a lot of programs is there are too many scenes shot with poor lighting. I know it's meant to be dark and moody but you can barely see what is going on.
