I have now decided to cut my grass at the weekend as I tend to agree with those that say it's hard to kill grass. I use strong weedkiller on my patio and it always grows back despite how strong the mix I use, so I have been swayed😀

Cut ours last weekend and and had a grade 1 haircut. Short as the mower went. I'm brutal!

Can’t believe it’s still only February looking at the garden. I don’t want to start so early, an extra month of cutting 😞 A lot of my plants haven’t died away as they usually do either so I’ve a bit of tidying to do.

Ours looks Ok at the moment, I don’t intend to start cutting too soon. The end lawn is mostly moss and it’s short and green!

Do people cut grass in Feb, I’m sitting on the sofa in a thick jumper and covered in a throw! 🥶

Sandra, You must have all your windows and doors open if you are cold. Even my wife hasn't had the heating on this evening, so it must be mild (bearing in mind you are only a couple of miles from me)

Have been trying to put this off for over a week but decided to bite the bullet and glad I did as it looks so much better. Hope it does not start growing too quickly as I don't want to have to been doing it on a weekly basis yet.

We have been to the garden centre today and was tempted to get some pots for the window boxes but decided to hold on a bit longer. We discussed bringing the Olive Trees out of the greenhouse but I don't trust this early Spring, it's too good to be true.

Glad I don't have to cut the grass at my parents house any more . In my teenage days I had to cut the grass and it took 2 hrs plus to do esp if I had to have grass box on . Front garden grass, back garden grass which led on to the orchard grass.
