New member here - simple question about check-in
Hi Folks, new member (ex lurker) here
We have been to Florida twice before, honeymoon in 1992 and holiday in 2002. We have a fortnight booked in July 2019, things seem to have changed a lot! I am just curious about the check-in procedure at Manchester. We are staying at an airport hotel the night before our flight so will check-in 24 hours before and choose seats. Does that mean that all we have to do is check-in our cases and collect boarding passes the following morning? We fly at 10:05. What time do we need to be at the airport to do cases, boarding passes and customs, and is it straight forward? Thanks, Mark. |

It is confusing to say the least, might be worth checking the airline or tour operator you are travelling with first. I know this year extra security checks have been introduced so despite checking in you could find you are asked to check in at the airport. Once you mention who you are flying with I'm sure others will provide you with all the info you need.

Hi Mark
Welcome to the Dibb! We’re on the same flight from Manchester as you on Tuesday! So I’m doing online checkin the day before and will print off my boarding cards - then on Tuesday I’ll get to airport about 7am and just go to bag drop (because I’ve checked in online) if however you haven’t printed you’re boarding cards they will do that at bag drop for you - hope that helps! I’m also staying night before at PI runger lane - got my parking booked from 6.30am Edited at 11:23 PM. |
