Disney first timer post stroke
Hi guys I have eventually convinced my mum and dad to come with us next year (mum is terrified of flying) but she had a stroke earlier in the year .. I thin this helped to convince her it's now or never. I was wondering I should there anything I can do to help her ?
I'm planning on renting a scooter for the duration of our stay (would need it moving from beach club to hard rock mid stay) .. any other advice ? Not sure wether to request ground floor or disabled room ? Also she gets really tired and can move but just can't take many steps at a time without falling or bumping into things Anyone have a similar experience or any advice ? Also any advice on how best to handle the airports ? She has never been on a plane and is terrified but determined to do it .. I have tried to get virgins fear of flying but there's non around me when I've enquired ? I just want to make it so special for them as I'm so proud of her being so brave and determined. Thanks Lisa
