Excited about Disney

My 13-yr-old will be livid if we have to watch Little Mermaid :-D
I've got the hump with Disney at the moment.
First time on-site and I wonder if we will bother again.
Too many rules and regulations and slots and planning and restrictions, then the booking system doesn't work on Fastpass day.
No doubt it will be fine when I get there but I'm grumpy with them atm.

HS was the only park we gave up on after half a day last year - and we disliked our MK day (not for us) so that's saying something. We headed to EPCOT and I was glad we had tickets allowing us to park hop. Never had to do that back in the 2000's.

Just not enough there now, even SW land opening isn't enough imo. They need I'd estimate another 1-2 headliners on top with 2-3 minor attractions to fill the park out on top of what they have planned. At least AK has animals and Epcot has world showcase. If you can't get the rides, HS is a total bust imo.

A real shame, it was one of the parks I thought was on the right track up until they started shuttering things. Hopefully when everything re-opens and new things are built it will become a proper full day park.
