Las Vegas to Los Angeles then Manchester

Hi all never done this flight before so can some one tell me do I need to go though security again and do the luggage go straight across to second flight.
Forgot to say frist flight delta then Virgin

As long as it is on a through ticket and outbound from the US then the luggage will go straight to the end destination.

If changing terminals at LAX you have to go out and back in through security. Some may allow you to stay airside but not had one yet between terminals. Often far quicker to walk between them than get the shuttle.

LAX is an awful airport, so expect the worst and be pleased if it is better.

Cheers it’s in the same terminal so should be ok

In which case you should be fine.

Just been through LAX yesterday to fly back via Manchester. We were terminal 6.
