A dream comes true September 2020
Hi there
My boyfriend and I are travelling to WDW next year 😍 I was there in March 2016 but it's his first time. First you maybe like to get known to us 😊 Me, Marion (25) Disney obsessed. Loves reading food reports, watching Disney Vlogs and has lots of disney Decoration that I bring into our new flat slowely ( maybe then he does not recognise it😅 has an absolute obsession with disney ears and loves matching shirts 😍 My boyfriend, Mickey Rider also known as Chris (23) will be his firdt time at WDW and the US. If our trip to disneyland Paris this November fails ( not sure if I could get some days off) also his first time ever in a Disney park. Loves food 🧡🍰🥞 Likes Disney and looks forward to the themepark holiday Not obsessed with anything disney 🤣 just fishing, soccer and playing PS 4 We wanted a budget trip but somehow 🙈 it turned out it isn't. As 14 nights French Quater with upgrading to DDP cost 4730€ Originally stated budget was 5500€ inkluding flights and car 🤣🤣 Our acutal itinerary looks like that 😅 Day 1 Saturday 19th Fly from Munich or Nuremberg to Miami / Orlando drive to a nice city with beach 😅 Day 2 Sunday 20th September Relaxing, Walmart shopping Day 3 Monday Plan A: stay again overnight in this nice city ( we not decided yet which city) Plan B: already travel to Orlando in the afternoon / evening do some Disney Walmart and Outlet shopping and stay at a cheap hotel that night Day 4 Tuesday Check In at French Quater Stroll around the resort 😍 pool time. Late afternoon Magic Kingdom or even MNSSHP Day 5 Wednesday Hollywood Studios til Lunch Water Park in thr Afternoon and Dinner at Disney Springs Day 6 Thursday Morning at MK Epcot including Food n Wine Day 7 Friday Animal Kingdom Day 8 Saturday Day off ( Resort, Pool and Shopping) Exploring polynesian Resort Day 9 Sunday Magic Kingdom Day 10 Monday Animal Kingdom Hollywood Studios Day 11 Tuesday MK ( MNSSHP?) Day 12 Wednesday Waterpark Epcot Day 13 Thursday MK ( MNSSHP?) Day 14 Friday Animal Kingdom Day 15 Saturday Again day off ( Resort, shopping, mini golf) Disney Springs Day 16 Sunday Morning at MK Hollywood Studios Day 17 Monday MK Day 18 Tuesday Check Out french quater Stay offsite for a last night in Orlando If on day 5 "only" MNSSHP we have 1 day left and will do MK this day instead and Epcot and HS yesterday Otherwise maybe Discovery Cove or some last minute shopping Day 19 Wednesday Last pieces at Walmart And maybe breakfast at polynesian for our last pixie dust Fly home So what do you think ? Okay this way? Or do I have planned 1 park not enough? I would rather have half day park 1 half day park 2 but that will be stressful with transporting right? Which city would you recommend for the first days? St. Augustine maybe? And which activity for the 18th day? We will try to keep the rest at budget to not dig our own graves 😅😅 We will attend MNSSHP once - my parents will give the tickets to us for birthdays 😍 My Granny will either pay Discovery Cove or a 2nd Halloween Party or give us some spending money 🧡 nother big question for me is how much spending money I should plan for the disney days inkluding Tipping. We already have 650$ in Gift cards ( 300 with booking and 350 i bought from a friend of a friend in the US) TIA Edited at 05:54 AM. |

If I had to choose a city to stay in for a few days, I would choose St Augustine. I've heard nothing but great things and it's very historic so will be super interesting to explore (say it with me...PIRATE MUSEUM! ).
Looking at your plan it looks pretty good to me. Re. day 18 what time is your flight home, or if not booked what sort of time are you ideally wanting to book? Do you not fancy Universal or any other theme parks (SeaWorld, Busch Gardens?) - the Wizarding World at Universal/Island of Adventure is the best theming I have ever seen in any theme park. As a huge Harry Potter fan, I burst into tears the first time I walked into Diagon Alley

Also regarding tipping, if you don't have any plans to use your gift cards to buy souvenirs, these are a fab way to pay tips (tips really add up!). We saved a small fortune using these to pay tips.
As an idea for spending money, I took $1,000. We had the DDP so all of our food (apart from Universal days) was paid for in advance. I came home with just under $300

I would love to go to Universal again 😍😍
But the tickets are sooo expensive 😥😥 I am not doing rollercoasters and 3D is not soo good for me. Maybe 1 ride a day 😅 But the harry potter worlds are awesome .. But tickets for even 2 days are killing any budget ( that is really tight with the expensive Disney booking) Not having flights by now Maybe we fly on the 18th evening or 19th day anytime Just depending on cheaper prices We also considering going 1 day earlier to stay in st. Augustine til monday and have enough time 😁😁 Tips will kill us 🙈😰🤣 Trying to pay tips and parking fees with gift cards and maybe food that is not covered with the dining plan 😊 Souvenirs are the part oh I havr money left we can buy things 😅😅 |
