Dinner time rolled round and it was time to re visit

This was the scene last trip of the cardboard egg rolls and stinky inedible fish, things could only, in theory, improve.

We started as usual with cocktails

Starters arrived after a short wait and things looked like they were on the up - cauliflower was tasty and the bread was nice too.

Tempura cauliflower

Pretzel & corn breads with cheese dip

Things went very smoothly, our server, Valeria was very good. Table was cleared ready for mains, wine brought out and we were offered extra condiments etc before the food arrived - little things but so much better when its done properly.

Still can’t say it’s absolutely wow and a must do but it’s a great improvement on our last visit.

All the meals look good so far.
We've three nights at Universal at the start of our August trip so this is really useful.

Have they stopped putting what I can only describe as jam/marmalade on the steak in the Kitchen? Last year it seemed to be a thing in a few restaurants ... 😂😂

No sign of any last night, marmalade on DD’s steak would be a return to kitchen offence that’s for sure

Car for the trip -

GMC Terrain SLT 8000 miles on it - £634 from Hertz for 27 days using a code I found online from the Daily Mail.

Reference the car. Hertz I assume? Very good price I must say. Good find getting a code. I assume you know about the Amex ones?

Yeah Hertz Mr Tom, with visitor toll pass added. I have the Amex codes too ta but for some reason only certain cars were being offered on pre pay with them, maybe it was the trip length who knows? The daily mail code was a tenner more but let me pre pay so I used it for a change.
