Hectic Itinerary - but hopefully doable?
Hiya,
I think I have worked out how we can squeeze in everything that we would like to do but it is going to be hectic. Does anyone have any further recommendations please to improve upon current plans? TIA (if it looks a bit weird starting on day 7 that's because we are staying elsewhere in Florida catching up with friends who now live out there for the first part of the holiday) |

It doesn't look particularly hectic to me. My only comments would be that I couldn't do the MK day from morning until HEA, I can keep going all day but I would have to break it up by doing at least two parks, so I would do fireworks in a different park. I also would not do Blizzard Beach on a Saturday.
Finally I notice you have picked out four FPs most days, one day you have two tier 1 rides at Epcot and another day you have two FP within the hour. Are these contingencies? |

Hiya, thanks for your reply.
I think we will play it by ear a bit on our MK day - all our FPs are over by mid afternoon so we may return to our hotel for a while before going back for HEA or we may leave earlier and just go to see it another day when we have no evening plans. TBH I have seen lots of things about not visiting the waterparks at the weekend so I was trying to avoid it but I can't see another time we can get to BB really. The only other slot I can see is 01 Aug which would mean 2 waterpark days in a row which isn't ideal but may be better esp. as we now have an 11:10 FP for WTP on the sat. so we may just stay at MK until we have had enough and then go to our villa. Although this is my current plan I am a bit flexible on it but just want to ensure that we make the most of all the tickets we have. Sorry for any confusion - all the FPs listed are booked in - some days there are 4 or overlapping ones as myself and 6 y.o. daughter are doing 1 ride/show/meet & greet and hubby & 16 y.o. son are doing a different one. |

It's not too bad, but please bear in mind that in the summer it is really hard work doing a park from morning to evening. The humidity just drains you and we find the hours between 1pm and 4pm more of an endurance test due to higher crowd levels, rather than being an enjoyable experience.
Things I would tweak on your plan are: Day 12 either do MK or BB, not both, as you're moving too. BB will be busy at the weekends, but if you get there 15 mins before opening you'll be able to secure some sunbeds and do a couple of rides before the crowds build. Arriving at lunchtime means you stand little chance of either. therefore, you could change Day 13 to a morning at the waterpark for opening. Days 17-19 think about doing another evening in some of the Disney parks, especially if you've missed any of the fireworks. So see if you can book some FP's. Also, try and get to Seaworld to see the special Summer nights shows and fireworks that they put on. Have a great trip. |
