Ok so these are my plans so far, from Tulsa fly to Las Vegas, two nights there, then Grand Canyon, from there we have 9 nights until we fly back from LA, was thinking 1 night at Disneyland (not sure whether to stay onsite or not) any recommendations. Then staying for 3 or 4 nights in Santa Barbara as a base to look round the area, so that leaves 4/5 nights between Las Vegas and LA, so unsure what to do, noticed there’s Death Valley, but is there another way anyone would suggest, it’s me, husband and 17 year old daughter, needing help.

We enjoyed Santa Barbara , stayed close to Anaheim but it's a few years ago but we stayed within walking distance to parks. Haven't stayed at canyon, we did a full day trip from vegas.

Disney is about a
Short term lets like AirBnB and VRBO are very much discouraged and banned by Anaheim City. Many still operate HOWEVER it is very risky to try this route. I have read trip reports where people have been told to say they are just visiting and are friends of the owner and even reports of people turning up in Anaheim and not having anywhere to stay. You wont really find villa/appartment style hotel in Anaheim. There are a good few motels and hotels within a 20 minute walk of Disneyland which have suites which would have kitchen or kitchenettes. Depending on budget some of the following will have a better kitchen area than others. Holiday Inn Express and Suites Anaheim Resort Area Camelot Inn and Suites Tropicana Inn and Suites Best Western Plus Park Place Inn - Mini Suites Anaheim Desert Inn and Suites Castle Inn and Suites La Quinta Inn and Suites By Wyndham Extended Stay America Orange County Anaheim Convention Center Candlewood Suites Anaheim Peacock Suites Clementine Hotel and Suites Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort Anaheim Portofino Inn and Suites Homewood Suites By Hilton Anaheim Doubletree Suites By Hilton Anaheim |
