Generally 30 minutes is our max but with fastpasses this year we hardly went in any standby lines.
We did expect to wait 1.5 hours for Forbidden Journey but in the end the queue wasn’t that long. That was when it was newish and we are big potter fans. I do wonder how lines get up to 3+ hours. Surely there is a point when people stop joining the queue. |

It’s crazy, when FOP opened the queue quickly left the designated areas and they had to create an extended line with cast members holding signs...I think at one point the queue was starting at the entrance to Pandora. 😱😱😱

40 mins at a push.
However we joined the Hagrid line when it showed 3hrs one evening- however we were on the ride in 2 hrs - would only do that once in a trip though for a new ride |

We don’t have a maximum if it’s something we want to go on we’ll queue simple really, we’ve queued for over 2 hours for stuff not really bothered us!

A 50 minute posted wait time is usually our limit.
We have waited for longer than this in the past a couple of times but the posted wait was less. I remember seeing a posted wait of 50 mins for Gringotts and umming and ahhing over whether to queue. I think we passed but did go on it later when it was 45 mins. Clearly not, as the recent 10+ hour queue for Hagrid's Motorbike ride - as well as other 5+ hour queues - implies. Based on the responses that appear for this type of question, I'm surprised we see any queues more than 90 minutes long at the parks.

30 minutes is my max UNLESS it's a new ride.
Then I up it to 60. |

20-25 mins. I’m clearly impatient! Anything longer spoils the ride for me.
