We’ve picked up at TI several times. You don’t get a choice of vehicle (well we didn’t) if that matters. I remember the costs were in line with FL, but we returned the car in Anaheim not LAS.

When I priced it up for our recent trip it was much cheaper to take an uber to the airport and pick up there than use a strip location for collection. This was using Avis.

I'd Uber to the rental centre which is offsite from the airport. You will get more of a choice and probably cheaper as well.

Good points above - I regretted bothering with the Uber to the airport this year, but we only had the car for two days so the cost differential might be more for longer rentals. We saved £20 but lost $20 in Uber and the time going to the airport.

I won’t bother going to the airport next time but we will only have the car for a day or two. It might be more worthwhile if we were picking it up for a week or so though.

Either way. The car hire from TI was not much more than any FL hire we’ve done.

We do this nearly every trip. I have used both Avis and Hertz and picked up at Bellagio, Paris,Mirage, Ballys, and our upcoming trip MGM grand. Our trip in October is just over $50. per day. I googled codes to use. We use a hotel near where we are staying and only get the car 3-4 days of our stay.

We also found it cheaper to hire from the airport. Got an Uber there - it's really close - and then could choose our car (we were with Alamo).

The choice was important to me as I wanted a convertible Mustang!
