If you only had one evening option...
As we had to adapt our plans to deal with humidity and we knew in advance my DS doesn't tolerate late nights we now just have 1 evening event...
Happily ever after is obviously the most magicial but the crowds getting out after do put me off. Shockingly never seen Fantasmic and with epcot Illuminations going soon... Which would you pick Happily ever after Fantasmic Illiminations

Illuminations since it’s finishing or I would choose Happily Ever After and have a wander round Main St afterwards until the exit crowds die down

Did Happily Ever After last night, Fantasmic the night before and did Illuminations on Wednesday. Having done Illuminations and Fantasmic many times before I'd say Happily Ever After wins hands down. There's something about that park and that castle... it elevates it to another level.

I love fantasmic it’s my favourite out of all of them, you can sit down and every where is a good spot and I love the music and story

Definitely Happily Ever After if it was me. I always stay where I am at the end of the fireworks for 10-15mins, having tried to move in the past this is now my preferred tactic. Let everyone move around you and then you can get out or to wherever you are heading with ease and without stress. Enjoy whichever you pick.

I would always go for epcot but if youve never done fantasmic then do that as its not to be missed and you can sit down so your son may not be so tired, and its usually earlier than the others at around 8pm
