Mobile 1st time DIY - questions

Hi all
I am planning on going DIY for the first time next year with 3 days in NY and then flying to Orlando for 12 nights in September

I have a couple of questions:

1) Can I book flights to and from the U.K. separately to the internal US flight? Are there any issues in doing this

2) if I book flights separately to the hotels do I lose the ATOL protection?

yes you can do seperate flights to and back again. then do internal... we do this loads very easy.. jusg check your lyggage allowances on intetnal flight if doing seperatley.
Yes you will lose atol protection.. for hotels if just booking flights. But if your booking directly with hotel anx its a major chajn hotel I wouldn't worry too much. Always pay by cc covered by credit cadd and make sure you take out decent insurance.

Hi check prices , you can quite often book a through flight but just delay the 2nd part to 3 days later. This would normally be cheaper.

Thanks all

I have seen some decent priced flights but the internal flights aren't out until the end of the month. Not long to go!
